Infinix Note 5 Price in Nigeria, Specs and Full Review 2018

Beyond Intelligent Smartphone

It has everybody talking…

The Infinix Note 5 is the 5th generation of Note series. After successive release of the Hot 6 and its variant, Infinix show no sign of slowing down. It seems to get only better, and we can only pray it continues in this trajectory.

The Note 5 has been hyped up, but is it really worth it?

Infinix have partnered with Google to produce an optimum Android OS experience powered by AI Technology. With this development, Artificial intelligence will elevate user experience through apps like Google lens and Google Assistant.

Well, the Infinix Note 5 according to some users is slightly different from the Note 4 Pro. Hopefully, this would be taken care of when the Note 5 Pro is launched. However, the aforementioned concern cannot take away the gloss off it.

Some crisp pictures of the device for your eyes to feast on before moving forward.

Design X Features X Display

As far a design goes, the smartphone is designed with premium materials, resulting to a glossy back finish that could easily attract compliment.

But a silver lining is wrapped with a cloud above it. The glossy back finish is sleek but imprints of your hands could leave marks on the back. Thus, you’ll need a wiper to keep the phone shinning.

Just by the top left corner is the rear camera and LED flash and the fingerprint reader is placed in the back where your hands can reach easily for quick unlocking.

There’s no denying the phone it quite bulky as it ships in 173g and dimensions of 158 x 75 x 8.4 mm. This shouldn’t come as a surprise considering the phone itself features a massive 6-inch FHD + LCD Touch Screen.

Wrapping your hands around the phone should come easy but the bulky size could cause a steer as it could likely bulge out from your pocket. But that’s a mans problem, right?

A lady can slip the phone into her purse and no one would notice it’s even there in the first place.

So, the ladies have it in the compatibility category – If that would make you feel better ladies.

Volume rockers on the sides and the power button below.  The speaker grills, charging port & headphone jack has been moved to the bottom.

In all, the phone doesn’t look cheap, in fact, you have three colors to choose from; Milan black, Berlin Gray and Ice Blue.

You can whip your phone out without getting intimidated by iPhones or Samsung users.

Front camera has of recent been shown some love by smartphone brands. Better wide selfies and picturesque shots from front cameras is common.

Infinix has picked up on this development by incorporating a stunning 16MP upfront with a single LED flash. While a 12MP + LED Flash sits on the rear.

Software X Hardware X Performance

The core of the device is equipped with a MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763T clocked at 2.0GHz. it also runs the Mali-G71 MP2 graphics processor.

Gaming and running apps have never been easier, you could easily enjoy those power demanding apps you are scared to play, but know you have to pay the price in rapid battery drain.

Regarding storage, it comes with a 32GB of storage which can be extended to 128GB with a MicroSD Card.

Coming to the software UI, it runs the Android 8.1 Orea AKA Android one plus Infinix customized XOS.

You just need enough battery to see you through a day and a 4500mAh for me is an over kill.

Some might argue it – but if you don’t play games or dig through social media a lot, 4500mAh will on all grounds suffice.

Interestingly, not only is the battery massive but it supports 3A fast charging too. According to some reviews, the phone should be charged to brim in less than  40 minutes.
