Design and Display Features

This smart device is endowed with a 6.95 inches screen and it can’t be hard to notice that. It provides a big-enough screen for gamers and movie lovers to get that cinematic experience. It also comes with a dot-in display, which takes away the need for a notch and gives a better screen-body ratio.

With a screen-to-body ratio of 83.7%, a resolution of 720×1640 pixels (258ppi density) and its LCD screen, users are bound to get the best of those 16M colours. In simple terms, it’s got a great display.

The screen also comes with a corning gorilla glass protection, one of the strongest screens possible. With this, users don’t have to worry about their screen cracking at the slightest fall. But this doesn’t mean you should go about being careless with your phone.

The screen is breakable but won’t go down as easily as your regular screen. No. The phone does not come with the recent USB C Port, but it still has 18W fast charging properties on its USB 2.0. It also supports USB On-The-Go (OTG).

Its fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side for quick access. And it’s speaker, comm. port and charging port are located at the bottom of the phone, as is the design with most recent model android phones. Some of its other sensors include the accelerometer, the proximity sensor and the compass.

The Infinix Note 7 has 4 rear-mounted cameras, one of which is 48MP for the main AI camera to take your sweet high-quality photos. It also contains 3 other 2MP cameras consisting of a Macro lens, a depth sensor for portrait mode and a dedicated video camera with an aperture of f/1.8.

On the flip side, it has a front camera of 16MP also with an aperture of f/1.8 and also has the portrait mode. This is moderate for taking cool selfies that look enticing enough. Some of the camera’s features for this phone include autofocus, touch focus, geotagging, face detection, ISO setting, exposure compensation, scene mode, etc.

Performance, OS  and Battery

This phone comes with the latest Android version (Android 10/Android Q) and all its lovely features. Accompanying it, we have a mouth-watering 6GB of RAM which is going to bring any chances of the phone freezing to its barest minimum.

Although the phone does come with different variants. There’s the 64GB internal storage + 4GB RAM, the 128GB + 4GB and the 128GB + 6GB.It also has a High-performance Helio G70 (12nm) chipset and an octa-core processor (2×2.0GHz and 6×1.7GHz) with a Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU so even our gamers have something to take home with this device.

It may not be Snapdragon, but Helio G70 is high up there with the chipsets in terms of performance. The smartphone is also backed with the XOS 6.0 UI which is quite a friendly and simplified user interface. For the battery, our note 7 gets 5000mAh Li-Polymer (non-removable) and a fast-charging 18W.

In Nigeria, the Infinix Note 7 goes for prices ranging between ₦79,000 and ₦89,500. This is due to the 3 different variants of the phone. Although the price can also be affected by the place where it is purchased, so you could also expect a higher price.

This phone was announced in April 2020, and should all go as planned, its expected release is July 2020.
