Design X Features

The phone features a great design, with a nice pattern of the back, you’d be happy to take out the phone anywhere. Although low-end, its looks doesn’t give it away.

With a 4.0 inches the screen has a 480 x 800 pixels resolution and 233 pixels per inch.

The front facing camera gives a 0.3 megapixel while the rear facing camera is equipped with a 2 megapixel with dual-LED flash.

If you want a more crystal shoot pictures with a budget phone, check out the W4 and W5.

Performance X Software

With a Quad-core MediaTek SoC 1.3GHz processer and 1GB Of RAM the phone gives a stellar performance. Although you’d experience some lags and glitches when many apps are opened.

But there’s a quick fix to this:

Simply close any app after use and you’ll be fine.

Next up is the software. Sure, the Tecno W1 comes with a new android version – Android 7.0 (Nougat).

In the grand scheme of things the 1500mAh the li-Ion battery is not big. However, since the phone doesn’t run high-end apps, you may be surprised that it holds charge for long.

The Tecno S1 is not that type of phone that will wow users, but for users on a budget the phone has some decent specs for the price it sells.
