The Infinix hot series is what I would call one of the transition’s gifts to humanity. Year after year, they continue to provide customers with basic end-meeting phones with relatively low prices.

It’s safe to say the hot series is one of that look-at when going for low budget phones with at least mid-level quality. The Infinix Hot 9 is currently the newest release of the mobile phone company, so far.

It was unveiled in March 2020 as the successor to the Hot 8 that was released last year and offers just as much promise and even more. This phone will impress the users and the world in general because of the amazing features it possesses.

When we go deeper into the features of the phone you’ll appreciate its great 8.90mm slimmer stylish design. Although it isn’t the only Infinix phone that possesses Face ID and Fingerprints security, those features have been greatly improved upon.

Display & Features

I’ll start by saying that a 6.6 inches long screen is one that’s very difficult to miss.

It gives you that TV-like experience when watching movies and allows for easier and broader controls when playing games.

Not to mention, your screen gets to contain much more information. It also has a dot-in display and is one of the earliest Infinix phones to possess the feature.

Combined with its 720×1600 resolution and the LCD screen, you’re bound to get a good on-screen experience with the device.

Although the design template of the phone is one that is common these days; it has a punch-hole display and a vertically aligned rear camera module. On how attractive it is, the smartphone has a vertical camera setup at the back with four cameras and an LED flash.

The cameras are placed in the top left corner. The fingerprint sensor is at the back which is directly beneath it the Infinix branding.

In front, there are fewer bezels due to a punch-hole in the top left corner. The top has nothing and the bottom has the speaker grille, a micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Infinix Hot 9 does not come with accelerated fast charging. But it does have a basic quick charging feature that lets it charge faster than the average 5000mAh battery enabled phone.

So you won’t need to do 5 annoying hours of charging to get your battery filled up. The colour options that come with the phone are quite impressive. And they are Midnight Black, Quetzal Cyan, Violet and Ocean Wave. The build of the phone is a Glass front, Plastic back, and a Plastic frame.

The phone camera has a 13MP main camera behind it, or 16MP for the 4GB+128GB variants, and 8MP Selfie Camera which is common with various models of Infinix Hot series smartphones.

3 other cameras serve as a macro lens, depth sensor and low light sensor for better pictures.

Software Performance

Backed by a chipset of MediaTek Helio A25 (12nm) the Infinix Hot 9 has one of the medium level performance chipsets there is.

Along with its 8 cores of 1.8GHz and 1.5GHz divided into two equal groups, this should give users a comfortable experience. There are also different models for the RAM ranging from 2GB, 3GB and 4GB, and the ROM ranging from 32GB, 64GB to even 128GB.

This can also be expanded using Micro SD cards up to 256GB. It is up to date with the Android OS as it comes with Android 10 (Go Edition). The smartphone also supports Dual SIM cards and 4G LTE for fast internet use.

The phone comes with a 5000mAh battery and has a relatively quick charging time. No running out of battery every 30 minutes for you. You can use your phone for up to 18+ hours without fervour.

To Wrap Up

Infinix Hot 9 has all the right properties one could be looking for in an android device. And at such a price, you’re not likely to get too many better deals with such specifications.
