Tecno Phantom Z Price in Nigeria: Full Review and Specs in 2018
The Tecno Phantom Z price in Nigeria – this article contains the detailed review of the phantom z price, specs, pics and our verdict.
If there is a phone that transformed Tecno Products from being looked upon as mediocre to premium Smartphone, then, the Phantom Z is that device.
As a matter of fact, it became the then First Tecno flagship to debut with the latest Android Os 4.4.2 (kit kat).
The phone was Tecno’s paradigm to test new things out, like the massive 5.2 inch screen with HD resolution and a whooping 2.0GHz Octa-core processor built for ultra fast speed and performance.
Overall, I haven’t seen any phone that has changed the face of Tecno’s history as much as the Phantom Z did. This phone was a classic and it’s still is today as many customers purchase it.

DESIGN & DISPLAY
Straight out of the box, phantom Z design looks similar to the Samsung Galaxy S3 apparently making the aesthetic beautiful.
The phone is built with premium materials and you can feel the somewhat smooth texture of the device and the metallic finishing around the edges. Thanks to the body material, it gives users a firm and comfortable grip of the phone even when using it with a single hand.
Phantom Z display is AMOLED and screen size takes as much as 5.2 inch with a resolution 1920 * 1020. This means that watching multimedia files on the phantom Z’s HD screen just got a lot better.
CAMERA
On the rear, the phone is equipped with a 16MP camera with dual flash. It is worth mentioning that the phantom Z has the highest camera pixel compared to other Tecno devices.
However, a higher camera pixel doesn’t necessarily means better. As we’ve seen recent Tecno phones like the Camon C8, Camon C9, Camon Cx, Cx Air have lower pixels but tends to take better pictures than the phantom Z itself.
The phone camera is top notch and it works fair enough but it doesn’t have the vibrant colors and contrast you find on premium Tecno devices.
While on the front, the Phantom Z boasts of a 8MP camera that’s suitable for taking scenic selfies.
PERFORMANCE & SOFTWARE
If a fast processor is all you need to grab a new phone, then, the Tecno Phantom Z is up for grabs as it features a staggering 2GHz octa-core processor. The fast processor is something that’s missing even on some of the most rated Tecno mobile devices.
Backed by the combo of a 2GB and 32GB internal storage the Tecno Phantom Z is built for speed and fast action.
Tecno didn’t include the memory card slot on the smartphone which would been a lot better if they did, but you can save about any file on the phone and you’ll still be left with space to save more.
The phantom Z runs the Android 4.4 kitkat OS and the upgradable via OTA update. The kit-kat interface is extremely smooth and responsive allowing you to effortless switch between apps. Also, the Os allows you to access the notifications by pulling down the notification bar.
BATTERY
On an average use, the 3030mAh can pull through the day without running out of battery. Heavy users will probably need a power bank as back up when their batteries runs down.
