Xiaomi has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Xiaomi Civi 3, in China. The device is packed with several high-end features, making it a standout addition to Xiaomi’s lineup.
The Civi 3 sports a 6.55-inch Full HD+ 12-bit OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and 1920Hz PWM dimming. The screen also has Adaptive HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and it’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The display boasts a brightness level of up to 1500 nits and a 16000-level automatic brightness adjustment, offering users a vibrant and dynamic visual experience.
The smartphone is powered by a custom MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra chip processor, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB (UFS 3.1) of storage. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13, further enhancing its performance capabilities.
In terms of cameras, the Xiaomi Civi 3 is equipped with a 32MP dual front camera setup. One camera is a standard autofocus camera, while the other is a 100° ultra-wide-angle camera. The camera system also includes AI Super Sense Four Soft light and five cool and warm light effects, providing a natural-looking portrait with the new portrait engine powered by the chip.
On the back, it houses a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX800 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120° field of view, and a 2MP macro camera. Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, a valuable feature for content creators and photography enthusiasts.
The device also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, an infrared sensor, USB Type-C audio, dual speakers with Dolby Atmos, and supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1 + L5), and NFC.
Despite its slim dimensions (158.75×71.7×7.56mm) and lightweight design (173.5g), the Civi 3 houses a substantial 4500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, offering users extended usage times and quick recharge capability.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 has a starting price of 2499 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB model, 2699 yuan for the 12GB + 512GB version, and 2999 yuan for the top-of-the-line 16GB + 1TB variant. The device will be available for purchase in China from May 31st1.
